FESTIVAL OF TREES-2009

The 2009 Festival of Trees will be held on Saturday December 5th. This is St. Anthony Hospital Foundation's most spectacular fundraiser of the year. Festival events will be held in the Pendleton Convention Center. This will be a great fun filled day, that also includes the Pendleton Chamber of Commerce Christmas Carriage Parade at 2:30 pm in downtown Pendleton.

The festival will begin with Family Day starting at 10:00 AM and going til 2:00 PM. Admission is free compliments of Wildhorse Resort and Casino. Children are given a number of free tickets to participate in activities for prizes such as the fish pond, the pocket lady, bingo, face painting and more. Santa will also be their for lunch and pictures with the children. Food is also available, prepared and served by the Pendleton School District staff in Rudolph's Restaurant.

Later in the evening, the Festival of Trees Gala will begin at 6:00 PM., with shopping, the tree preview and music by Emily Calendar's strings students. Then comes the auctioning of beautifully decorated Christmas trees with gifts of various themes beneath them. There will also be a delicious prime rib dinner complete with all the trimmings. Then dance the night away with music provided by G & C Productions.

Proceeds from this years Festival of Trees are earmarked for the Family Birth Center; specifically a telemetry fetal monitoring system, a bilirubin analyzer and an oxygen spot analyzer.

Mark your calendar for the Festival of Trees, Family Day and Gala, on Saturday, December 5th. Tickets to the gala are available for $35 per person and may be purchased at Dave"s 12th Street Chevron or by contacting Vonni Simonton at 541-278-3236.
